I picked up my 3 frenchies (50k worth of pure love) My dogs were skinny like they hadn’t ate. They are all usually very hyper. They have been sleeping and lethargic since I brought them home. I left my dogs with $200 worth of fresh food from the farmers dog as well as two large bags of treats. When I got them home to eat it was as if they hadn’t ate in days. I could clearly see they lost weight. I do not recommend. I paid $1,150 for 5 days and clearly they were not fed properly and maybe given a sedative of some sort. This is not normal

Our beloved Great Dane DIED 12 hours after picking him up from here. We will never board here again, and are leaving this review to warn others from doing so. This was months ago now but I can only bring myself to write this review now as the hurt is still so fresh. Upon pickup my husband was told both our dogs had a great experience and gobbled up their food but they both had very evidently lost an extreme amount of weight. While less noticeable in our golden the Great Dane clearly had not eaten much, if anything during his entire stay, so clearly they do not care as not once were we called out of concern. Not to mention we’re lied to by staff stating they both licked their bowls clean at each feeding. We have boarded previously at other places and they always have been very communicative and upfront and honest this was not that experience. It was around 6 pm when we picked him up and we planned to take both dogs to the vet the next morning to get checked out, because both dogs were very clearly underweight at this point. Barkley our Great Dane painfully so. He died at 6 am the following morning, clearly just desperate to be at home with his people before giving up his fight. He was only 3.5 years old. If you care about your pets, and want them to be treated with love, attention, and care do not take them here.

The staff was nice. We borded our dogs for 9 days; first time and last time. Our dogs came home smelling like kennel floor even though we paid the extra $$ for the bath in a total bill over $1100. When confronted, the owner told me the dogs were bathed & must have gone outside and laid in potty before being picked up because they were in the 'dryer' for 4 hours. Really?! I understand our dogs are big, very big, but just be honest and don't charge me for what obviously didn't get done. My 11 yr old daughter washed & dried our beautiful dogs the next day w/o issue and they are finally clean & happy. I wonder what else we paid for that didn't get done...? We'll never take our precious animals again to Cobble Hill.

We are beyond pleased with the care that Cobble Hill provides to our German Shepherd when we travel. The staff is very patient both with us and with our high maintenance dog. Every time I call to check on him, they walk back to see what he is doing and double check that he's eating well. When we pick him up, he is happy, clean, and has clearly had the time of his life. Every interaction with the staff conveys that they love my dog. Can't put a price on that!!
